Richard Holden MP met with DCI Daniel McHugh in Basildon.
Richard said: "Thanks for Daniel who heads up our local district for inviting me down and hosting me today.
"Interesting to hear about some of the work out local officers are doing, particularly their recent targeting of burglaries and car thefts as well as the successes and challenges they have more generally. I’ll be visiting officers involved in some of the neighbourhood work in the coming weeks.
"I also look forward to meetings with the Chief Constable in the coming months and to hear more from our excellent Essex PFCC Roger Hirst as we tackle issues across Basildon & Billericay and continue to increase officer numbers across Essex."
There are opportunities available right now to join the local force with a starting salary of £31,552 rising to almost £50,000 as a Constable after 7 years service with promotion opportunities available across the force - check out roles here >>> https://www.essex.police.uk/.../police.../police-constable/
