Richard visited Hannakins Farm Community Centre to tour the facilities available to residents.
"Delighted to be taken round the facilities at Hannakins Farm in Billericay with trustees Mike Nye and David Morgan from the West Billericay Community Association recently.
"Over 2,000 local people use the facilities each week, from football and netball clubs, pilates and karate classes, to baby groups and children’s parties.
"From speaking to Mike and David, I know that local Basildon Borough Conservatives councillors Cllr Phil Turner, Tony Hedley, and Daniel Lawrence, have been strong champions for the centre, which faces pressures from rising utility costs. I will do all I can to support them and ensure residents can continue to enjoy the mental and physical benefits that come from the sports and activities."
