"Recently, I dropped by Pharmanovia, a global pharmaceutical life cycle management company based right here on Miles Gray Road in Basildon. Their work is truly impressive, enhancing established medicines by rediscovering, repurposing or re-engineering them to improve the outcomes and experiences for patients.
With hundreds of employees worldwide and their HQ here in Basildon, they are major employer that is committed to our area. It was fantastic to meet CEO Dr James Burt, General Counsel Neeshe Williams and members of the Pharmanovia team and to get a briefing on their activities.
They care about developing and supporting their workforce and it was brilliant to hear about the impressive apprentice and graduate schemes they run – alongside their community work including being represented at a local careers fair recently.
